Another property on Yorkshire Grove on the Shropshire Close estate is a very nice 2 bed semi.
Rather than duplicate the same information again, I will just give some basic info as the properties presented are pretty much the same. Where there are more obvious differences I will highlight these.
In my research to discover potential properties for buy to let investment it does appear that there are other properties on this newbuild housing estate up for sale, therefore, I will probably be covering more properties of these types in my upcoming posts over the next few weeks. Shropshire Close and it’s locality is a burgeoning area for rental properties. I have helped many of my clients to buy and rent out the properties for sale on this estate. They are selling at a reasonable price and achieve above average yields. They are newbuild and in general need very little work doing to them in order to bring them up to a lettable standard even if they have been previously occupied and in addition are ideally located. So, let’s get on with the show…
A traditional two bedroom end terraced house in Leamore, Walsall. This outstanding spec is well worth your time and effort to view immediately.
A traditional two bedroom end terraced house on Wenlock Gardens in the Coalpool area of Walsall. The spec is pretty decent and not a lot, if any, requiring attention. However, I would recommend changing the blue and green painted walls and go for something more neutral and in keeping with the rest of the property.
Just added to the market by Yopa (01322 584 475) is a three bedroom semi detached house in the Reedswood area of Walsall. My first impression is that it is a nice sized property, but the decor would need to be changed to something more neutral for a rental property. The property has everything that is to be expected for a property of this quality. There is off-road parking to the front in the form of a blocked paved driveway. there is a garage, but would not be able to be used as such, but as storage. The front and rear gardens are low maintenance and of average sizes. All three bedrooms are double sized and the kitchen and bathroom are of modern design. Additionally, there is a dining room, conservatory and utility room. Top it all off with gas central heating and double glazing and you have a very nice rental property in a highly sought after area.
A traditional two bedroom end terraced house in between Walsall and Bloxwich town centres. The spec is decent enough with the decoration having been recently upgraded.
A good looking 2 bed semi on Darlaston Road, Walsall, WS2. It has a decent sized rear garden with an overlooking sun room. It’s a pretty good spec and by the looks of the photos, doesn’t need anything doing to it, but as I always say, “that is what viewings are for”. There are two double bedrooms, a Modern style bathroom, but unfortunately there is no picture of the kitchen. There is a Veranda, which looks like it is being used as a utility room. Parking is off-road. Located on the main Darlaston Road it is not far from Walsall, Darlaston and Wednesbury town centres.
This 3 bed semi detached home is situated on Burton Avenue, Rushall, Walsall, WS4. On the market with Express Estate Agency (0161 300 3987) and marketed at £140k. The full details can be found here.

From the outset I have to admit that the kerb appeal of this property isn’t that great, however, open the front door and it’s like you have entered through the tradesmans’ entrance to the secret world of Narnia. It’s large, open, full of light and neutrally decorated.
A very nicely presented three bedroom semi detached house on Larchwood Road, Tamebridge, Walsall, WS5. The asking price is £140k with Yopa (01322 584475), you can find the full property details here.
Located in the highly popular and very desirable Tamebridge estate, speaks volumes as to the location and therefore the potential for long term letting.
There are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. There is a conservatory extension to the rear.
