Technically, this is a two bed, but the loft is currently being used as a third bedroom and is large enough for a single bed or used as as extra storage space. Since I’m on the updating bandwagon, I thought I would have a look at some old buy-to let deals just to see how they’re doing these days. I am happy to report that the majority that I have revisited, are no longer on the market. This one I wrote about on 18/02/2016.

I wrote about this property back in May and luckily it is still on the market almost 5 months later. The good news is that the price has been reduced by 10% to £90000!

Posted on the 8th September and listed as another investment opportunity. It appears that the local estate agents feel that adding that little phrase to their listings adds some kind of cache to their post. It’s a bit hit and miss based on their “criteria” as an investment, but anyway, it gives the rest of us who are actually interested in searching for properties like these, the chance to see if it does indeed pass muster.

It’s not a bad little spec in a good rental area and will need some changes to the basic decor and some serious consideration as to whether the brick fireplaces stay or not. It does have double glazing and gas central heating.

Listed as a ‘fantastic investment opportunity’. Well, is it? If my Spidey senses have taught me anything, based on the price and the lack of photos , kind of tells me this property will need some TLC.

On the positive side, the area is good for rentals and the average pcm price for a two bed terraced house is in the region of £495.00 and many amenities, including schools, are within easy reach.
