Is there any such thing as too good that we can’t help but oblige ourselves? I remember purchasing a buy to let a few years ago when I had no intention to do so. At the time I wasn’t in the market for a property to rent but looking for our family home. A local agent asked me to take a look at something as I would be in the area looking at something else so I went along, reluctantly I hasten to add. This visit resulted in a property I purchased where even today I am achieving a yield of 11.88%!!
Whilst this property doesn’t achieve the same yield at 8.5%, the yield achievable is not too shabby by anyone’s standard. The location is great for the commuter as you have both J9 and J10 of the M6 within walking distance (not that I would recommend walking to the motorway).
From the pictures I would say the property is in good condition but my immediate concern would be around the kitchen and bathroom as there are no pictures provided. I like the fact that there is central heating (most apartments are electric only), and the UPVC double glazing has been upgraded. Parking seems plentiful around the rear.
The location and price of this property together with the potential yields achievable deserves further enquiry of this particular property. Is it too good to pass up? I’ll leave that with you….
